The American saying routing like the British would say the word route (but with ing). The British call it routing in a sort of rout style with ing on the end. What ever you call it, I've been routing with my router for some hours over the last two days, my hands are shaking and my knees are weak (I am in fact All shook up - but whilst it may be love, it's more likely to be the vibration from the router).
It's fab - what can I say - so far made 3 boxes for the spuds only 10 more to go and I'm glad to say (as are the neighbours and him in doors) I'm getting quicker (it's an awfully noisey noise).

Once you have found the video you want to use you will need to copy the html code to your new post, you do this by selecting the embed text to the right of the video. Using your mouse, right click and select all, the box will turn blue. Right click again and select copy.

Don't get me started on American pronunciations. "Hey good buddy. What 'route' do you want to take to get to San Jose?" What!? Could you say that in Canadian English please.
Oh I get it, if the American pronounces 'route' as 'root',I'll figure out the best way to San Jose.
Now then what about the way the Americans say 'roof'..sounds more like a dog barking! I told you not to get me started on American pronunciations.
"Do you know the way to San Jose? Wo wo wo..." Have fun with your spuds. Dig it.

I've got a router - an old Black and Decker one - but I haven't used it for 22 years, I wonder if it still works? Anyway you've inspired me to find out - I'm not sure what I'll do with it - Pen might come home one day to find all the furniture beautifully grooved - Tone x
I must be an innocent. I don't know what a router does, and the websites I looked at to find out didn't give me enough detail (and the photographs were useless).
What precisely have you been doing with yours? I need to know more about woodworking as eventually I'll need to do some on our allotment.

Oh alec, let me bore you. It's a device for cutting channels in wood - why would you want to do that I hear you say. Well, you can do really accurate joints including dove tail joints with the right bits (the things that do the cutting are called bits). If you look at picture rails or skirting boards and you see the detail on the edge it does all that and if you ever wanted to build a kitchen then a router would be the thing to have!
